Occasionally I have a "teen" or adult who is in need of a warm, loving,
forever home. This may be a young adult who does not fit into my
breeding program, a retired adult, a rescue I have taken in or
occasionally I have an older puppy that I have kept for show/breeding
and he/she didn't turn out like I was hoping. These are all healthy
dachshunds and need the right home to love them. They are available
for an adoption fee. It is important that I find the right home for each
individual doxie so please be honest in sharing information about your
family. Also, an older doxie is going to take a bit of adjustment but
generally does very well. I insist they come back to us if it does not
work out.

After much thought, we have decided to place our
Witchy available for adoption to the right forever
home. Witchy was born and raised here with us.
She is just 4 years old and looking for a"dachshund
savvy" home. We will only consider a raw feeding
home for her and someone who shares the same
ideas about limiting vaccines. Witchy is crate
trained, house trained on a schedule, lead trained,
and does well with other dachshunds. She also lives
with our schnauzer and has been exposed to many
other breeds as well. She acts dominant at first but
does just fine after. She loves to play and would
appreciate a home with another fun dog. She is also
used to children. Witchy is protective of her home
and environment but will warm up to strangers if
given a bit to get used to them. She will need to be
spayed and AKC papers will be withheld until proof
of spay is given to us. Please inquire with
